Johnson City Community League (JCCL)

We are happy to inform you that JCCL members have merged with the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce on 7/27/07. JCCL as an organization is in suspended mode.

MISSION: The Johnson City Community League (JCCL) was formed to promote the economic foundation of Johnson City Texas. We actively network among members to promote our businesses and our community. Please note we are not part of the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce or the Visitors Center.

More specifically, our mission is defined in our incorporating articles as:

"The mission of the Johnson City Community League is to stimulate economic vitality, improve the visual appearance and the quality of life in Johnson City by promoting it as a great place to live, work, shop and invest while maintaining the small town environment.

The Johnson City Community League's approach to the revitalization of Johnson City involves volunteers and businesses working simultaneously to achieve common goals and objectives.

The group's main focus is to progress into the future while preserving Johnson City's heritage."

ORGANIZATION: We are a non-profit organization, Texas chartered, with an IRS 501-c-3 tax exempt status. All of our officers and support staff serve on a volunteer basis. We began operations in 2003. MEMBERSHIP: Membership is open to all individuals and organizations in the greater Johnson City area who support our mission. Membership fees are $12/yr. Meetings are open to members and visitors at all times. We welcome visitors and we will encourage you to join our organization.

MONTHLY MEETING: We meet the first Thursday of every month at 5pm. Normally we meet at the Friendly Bar Bistro. Everyone is invited! Check the Calendar tab above for any location changes.
